Good stuff all around!
First up, Impure Blood, Vol. 4 surveys are out, and we're doing great! With 66% of backers already responded!
If you haven't filled yours out yet, please take a minute to check your inbox and/or spam filter and do so. It literally takes a minute or two and the sooner I get those in, the sooner I can get you your rewards! The deadline is this time next week so I can get the catch up tiers out in time for the Holidays! And don't forget, everyone's getting a $5bonus credit for helping me fund the fourth and final volume of Impure Blood! Thank you!
Secondly, all the bonus digital comics bundles have been sent out via the Kickstarter messaging system! Go to your Kickstarter account, click on where it says "Messages", and you should see them right there.
And speaking of sending out rewards...
All the books from Impure Blood Vol. 3 Kickstarter have been sent out into the world! If you've been waiting on your copy, then your wait is soon to be over! I cannot tell you how happy I am that I will soon be able to call this one fulfilled and complete! I know there's been a pandemic and everything, but yeesh!
As for fulfilling Vol.4, I'm currently plugging away at the thank you comic for all the backers who bought a copy of Impure Blood for ComicBooks For Kids.
What the hell is going on and what's up with that guy and his big bubble head? It's not too late to get your own personalized page! You can still buy a book for CB4K when you complete your Backerkit survey. All the more reason to get 'er done! And it might be a good use for that $5 credit... Jus'sayin'...

Huzzah! Victory! Triumph!
Thank you so much to everyone who turned out and showed up to make the fourth and final Impure Blood Kickstarter a magnificent success! I took the rest of the weekend to chill out and have some fun with my daughters, and now it's on to the next exciting phase of running a Kickstarter: Fulfillment!!
Currently Kickstarter is doing it's thing, collecting, and processing funds. Those funds will come through in about two weeks. During that time, I will be working on seting up BackerKit and getting out surveys. Pre-press files are all prepped and ready to go (except the backer page), and I'm aiming to get that out to the printer just as soon as those surveys come back.
So far the pledge collection process is going well! However, there are still 8 backers with pledges that have not gone through. Both I and Kickstarter's system will be reaching out to those backers. Usually it's just a matter of updating the credit card KS has on file. If for whatever reason you need to arrange alternate payment, feel free to reach out to me and we can work something out so we can keep fulfillment rolling smoothly!
With shipping lanes being what they are at the moment, I'm estimating complete fulfillment around June 2022. Hopefully things will clear up and we can get things out before that, but unfortunately I can't guarantee anything.
But, I do have some good news! I got this email from my printer yesterday!
Impure Blood Vol.3 is at long last on dry land! I can't promise that everyone will get their books in time for the holidays... but I'm really hoping that's how it shakes out.
Keep an eye on this space for further updates and for Backerkit surveys!
Thanks one more time to everyone who has made this series possible! It has been a marvelous experience for me, and I can't wait to show you what I have coming up next!

This is it!! Impure Blood Vol.4 is in it's FINAL WEEK! There are just 5 more day to get your hands on any copy of Impure Blood, Vol. 1,2,3 or 4.
It's been a wild campaign and we've done well, but we still have some work to do if we want to unlock those stretch goals!
And time is running out to buy a book for ComicBooks For Kids! It may not seem like much, but it makes a world of difference to a kid that could use an escape.
And if you need an escape, might I recommend Wayne's Comics podcast? The latest episode of which features none other than yours truly!

And woof...
I'm not gonna lie, this has been a rough one. With this being the culmination of the Impure Blood series and two and a half years of effort, I was expecting my biggest campaign yet. But I also realize that there are a lot of factors outside of my control at works here. Shipping and supply chain delays in and of themselves, of course. AND folks starting the holiday shopping season early because of those delays.
But you know what I'm grateful for?
168 returning backers.
There are at least 168 people out there who like the Impure Blood saga enough, know that I'm as good as my word, and are happy to come back and turn out for the launch of the final book in the series. That and the fact that backers have bought 55 copies of Impure Blood that will go to ComicBooks For Kids.
That's a good feeling, and that's what's gonna carry me through the last couple days of this Kickstarter.
That and sketching! Give it up for these Daily Drawing Drawing winners!

And probably one of my favorites thus far: William Wallace Vs. Conan the Barbarian.
Who do you think would win? I do feel that Wallace is at a bit of a disadvantage, being non-fictional.

In the Land of the Dragon by Brant Fowler and the gang at Last Ember Press.
Brant is a veteran Kickstarterer, and he's bringing the quality yet again. In the Land of the Dragon is a cyberpunk comic book set in a world not unlike our own, except that magic exists as an equal force with science and is used to start - or finish - wars that devastate this world. The mercenary, Kenzo, is tasked with an unusual mission: kidnap a baby! Not just any baby, though, one whose existence can shift the seat of power in the sprawling metropolis.
